You're Viewing: All Agritourism in Washington

Orcas Island has a long standing history with agriculture that is alive and well in it’s current community. The island is well known for valuing permaculture, creating farms that are as sustainable and self-sufficient as possible. Agritourism on Orcas Island allows visitors the opportunity to visit local farms and take farm tours, observing firsthand how the livestock and crops are raised and tended to. Some Orcas Island farms even offer lodging on site, if visitors are interested in fully immersing themselves in farm life. If you don’t have time to squeeze in a farm tour, make sure to check out the Orcas Island Farmers Market, where many local famers and artisans sell their goods each weekend in Eastsound!
