Orcas Island has a long standing history with agriculture that is alive and well in it’s current community. The island is well known for valuing permaculture, creating farms that are as sustainable and self-sufficient as possible. When visiting the many farms on Orcas, visitors will encounter animals, farm stands and tours, you-pick options and, of course, farm fresh meat, fruits, and vegetables for purchase!

Additionally, some farms offer lodging for those who are interested in immersing themselves in farm life. They also offer their properties for wedding and event rentals, setting the scene for a unique and picturesque event!
