Four Winds Westward Ho is a private, non-profit summer camp founded in 1927. We offer an incredible camp experience for boys and girls ages 8-16 during three sessions each summer. Activities include: sailing, horseback riding, tennis, archery, arts & crafts, gardening, sports, photography and music. Our trips program takes campers overnight to nearby islands.

Named for the large number of human remains found on the island, Skull Island is a 2.5 acre island located in Massacre Bay between Deer Harbor and Westsound. Day use only; accessible only by boat.
A discerning private collection of works by San Juan Islands' artists. From fine art to architectural follies, The Lambiel Museum features a diverse and varied collection of local artists' work including paintings, drawings, etchings, sculpture, murals, glasswork, photography and ceramics. The various preserves are managed wholly or in part by the San Juan Preservation Trust and San Juan County Land Bank and plans are underway to merge all three Preserves into single jointly managed preserve.

Judd Cove is a little known public waterfront area owned by the Land Bank and The Trust for Public Land. Besides the beautiful water views it also has a semi restored Lime Kiln and a trail through the forest which passes the old limestone quarry. Great place for a picnic but no camping allowed.
You can’t miss Waterfront Park on your way into town from the Orcas Island Washington State ferry landing. Home to the annual Orcas Island Fourth of July Fireworks celebration and annual Orcas Island Community Bank concert.
